  personality.     Venus is not like your typical vampire. Having been recently turned she can still recall what it was like to be mortal. Venus leads with her heart and not her head, often getting her and the court in trouble as they deal with her inability to think first. She's loud and excitable, unable to calm herself down as her emotions swing from one side of the pendulum to the other rapidly.

A vampire with a passion Venus came from a closed-off temple in the woods of Gridania. The Viera in the village were her teachers and mentors, raising the small girl as their own without realizing she was directly descended from their goddess Menphina. The girl had been hidden away in the village so other gods wouldn't know that Menphina had a child.One day though bandits would come and torch the village to the ground. Venus is scooped up and taken hostage as she watches her family burn alive. The smell of burning fields of lavender still burns her throat on lonely nights when she misses those who raised her.Venus would spend three years as a slave in Sastasha, finally freeing herself by luck and finding herself a ride to U'ldah where she would begin her life as a notable jewel thief. She would quickly rise to a legendary rank as a thief thanks to her desperation to survive and her ability to manipulate emotions.Being given a job to steal from The Vampire Queen, Venus would accept the task and steal a satchel of vampiric jewels from the coven only to end up peddling her goods in a bar to one very dangerous vampire noble.The Lord would play nice at first, though his blade would soon be to her throat as the pair fought. In the end, he offered her a deal she couldn't refuse. A lifetime with him in servitude in exchange for her life.However, even for a vampire, life is not always eternal. Venus lost her sire and her home in one fell swoop. It's why she has recently moved in with the love of her life, Xalan. For someone who has lost all her loved ones to death, she somehow found comfort in her place next to the Grim Reaper.

Venus feels that Komo is her sister. She couldn't imagine having someone she can confide in like she does with Komo and the pair of brats often get into trouble together. Komo has become incredibly important to Venus, may the twelve help any who hurt Komo...for Venus' wrath knows no bounds.

Kam is the fox fae that brightens up Venus' life. Venus is a big fan of making deals and has since been forced into the fae's court to serve her. Venus feels Kam is a very powerful ancient being and would do just about anything to make the fox fae happy.
Agito Malaguld
Truly her oldest of friends. Agito has known Venus since before she opened her failed alehouse. Agito knew her when she was still mortal and has been by her side for a very long time. She trusts the assassin to protect her and she too would lay down her life to help her dear friend.
Xalan is her husband and the love of her life. Working for him at Painted Moon she was able to get close to him quickly, though she is still learning about him. Venus finds The Ghost of The Azim Steppe very interesting and hopes to remain by his side for as long as he will allow her to stay.
Magza Angura
An unexpected friend, the mountain has earned his own way into the vampire's heart. She finds herself often seeking out his company and has even appointed him as her advisor. Though she may not always listen to him, she does trust him fully.
Aldis
Her brother from another mother. Venus has been friends forever, and she appreciates all the help he has given her in running her old venue and helping liven up the FC. She treats him like a sibling and the two have playful bickering banter.
Novalee Fenwraith
The White Rose and rightful leader of The Veiled Court. Venus considers her to be her sister and has been obedient in running things in Nova's absence. Venus would move mountains and the heavens if Nova wish it, being a good extended blade for Nova to use. Nova is one of the only people outside of Bakuro who can successfully command Venus.
Joo Jin
Basically her son. Her very stupid son who she loves. Venus helped him become a vampire and has taken to watching over him from afar to ensure he is able to keep that immortality he so cherishes.
